It is difficult to determine exactly how much it will cost to complete the Executive Doctoral degree since costs vary based on current tuition rates, course fees, additional university fees, and residence status. Costs for out of state and international students are higher than for Texas residents. The following are the estimated costs of the Executive Doctorate in Professional Leadership program for in-state resident, based on University of Houston tuition and fees for the academic year of 2018 - 2019. Most students in the program enroll in two courses in fall, 3 courses in spring (1 winter intersession course and 2 regular courses) and 3 courses in summer semesters (1 summer intersession and 2 regular courses).
